Dr. Doris Taylor on Exploring Cardiac Repair in Women at the Cellular Level
Texas Heart Institute received the Alpha Phi Foundation’s 2017 Heart to Heart Grant to fund research led by Doris Taylor, PhD, Director of the Regenerative Medicine Research and the Center for Cell and Organ Biotechnology at the Texas Heart Institute. The new study will examine cardiac repair in women at the cellular level by exploring sex differences in blood, bone marrow and stem cells of patients enrolled in cell therapy clinical trials.
