Question:
Can joint pain supplements also help to reduce inflammation that may cause heart disease?
Hello, is there any proven benefit to taking a joint pain relief supplement such as Instaflex or Flexacil to reduce the potential for same inflammation that may cause heart disease?

This is a terrific question and one that is being studied presently in patients in several national studies. At the moment, the best and safest therapies for this purpose are to keep your LDL as low as possible with diet, exercise and a statin medication, and possibly the use of a coated aspirin such as Ecotrin. Thank you.
