Could symptoms of a burning feeling in the chest be due to blockage?
I HAVE NOTICED A SLIGHT BURNING ABOVE MY HEART BUT MORE CENTERED. IT ONLY LASTS SEVERAL SECONDS. IT FEELS LIKE THE AREA IS ABOUT THE SIZE OF A 3 INCH PENCIL. I WAS TOLD 2 YEARS AGO MY STRESS TEST WAS BORDERLINE DUE TO A SHADOW. COULD THE BURNING BE DUE TO BLOCKAGE? IT JUST HAPPENS WITH OR WITHOUT EXERCISE, BUT SOMETIMES STRESS.

Chest burning may be related to your heart, however, it is usually associated with other symptoms. If your first stress test was borderline before, your MD may choose to repeat it, particularly if you have risk factors for blockage of the arteries.
