Question:
Do these echo results imply heart failure?
Is an echo showing impaired diastolic filling and an e/a of 0.8 indicative of heart failure in the presence of ankle swelling and fatigue?

Sorry, too little information to answer the question. To provide a clear answer, other important data is needed, such as the patient's age, LVEF, status of heart valves, PA pressure, systemic pressure, etc. Your question is valid. Ask the physician who ordered the study for you.
