Question:
What is n-stemi?

Answer:
by Texas Heart Institute cardiologist, Neil E. Strickman, MD
It is a condition where the patient is having severe heart pain but the EKG does not show any changes. It is very similar to a "real heart attack" in that the heart enzymes are found to be elevated in the blood. It should be treated just like a heart attack unless the blood tests are elevated because of another condition.
