My heart function is only 30%.  What can I do to improve it?

submitted by William from NL, Canada on 9/25/2014

Answer:

by Texas Heart Institute cardiologist, George Younis, MD

George Younis, MDIn most cases, medications give the best chance for improvement of heart function.  Unfortunately however, in many situations no improvement in function occurs.  But still, medications can lead to great symptomatic improvement.
