Question:

Does left anterior fascicular block require special attention?

Hi, I had an EKG done and it states on there 'left anterior fascicular block'. Some of the research I have done said it can be caused by a blockage. I do have a pacemaker and I do have big vessel disease of the heart. Should this be looked into more? Thank you.

J. Alberto Lopez, MDIf you already have a pacemaker and are cared for regarding coronary artery disease, there is nothing else needed except the usual regular monitoring and preventive care.
