Ethical Guidelines for Gifts to Physicians from Industry
The American Medical Association's national initiative on the communication of ethical guidelines for gifts to physicians from industry, launched in 2001, is now available online. The initiative urges physicians and industry representatives to adhere to the AMA's guidelines regarding gifts to physicians, Opinion E-8.061-Gifts to Physicians from Industry. This is one of the resources available in the Medical Ethics website.
The AMA currently offers four free online educational resources that help physicians understand these guidelines for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.
