Travel and Benefits
Fellows are provided $1000 per year to support travel costs to attend a conference of their choosing that is relevant to their career interests. Fellows will generally attend either AHA or ACC their first and second years. Third and fourth years are encouraged to attend subspecialty focused conferences.
Incoming fellows are provided with their own personal monogrammed lead set for use in the cardiac cath lab.
Current stipend salaries by PGY level can be found on the Baylor College of Medicine website.
Fellows are provided with three weeks of paid vacation. In addition, six holidays are observed for fellows (on call coverage still provided).
