Question:
For coronary artery disease, is ballooning or stenting better?
In a patient with one artery 100% blocked and the other 80% blocked, what is good for him - ballooning or stenting? Can a patient choose as to what has to be done?

Balloon angioplasty is normally done before the stent is implanted to allow smooth passage of the stent.
